Once upon a time, being creative wasn’t just a hobby, it was a philosophy. It was a way of life that made us stay up late to work on exciting projects, kept us awake with a brain full of new ideas of fresh possibilities, and despite lack of sleep, left us eager to get up early the next day so we could hurry up and do it all over again!

Then we grew up, became responsible, had bills, social expectations, constant fatigue, and stress. Doing things we loved and made us fulfilled was seen as frivolous, didn’t pay the bills, wasn’t always socially acceptable, and being tired and full of stress was something to just accept as a part of life.

Luckily, we grew wiser as we grew older, and realized all of that was B.S. Life isn’t about just accepting things, fitting in, or making do. Life is about finding your passions, fulfilling your potential for joy, and enjoying the process of learning new things.

Goblin Gear and Goods was created to feed that little goblin in the back of my brain - that wee beastie that kept whispering, “you could make that”… “wouldn’t that be a cool thing to create”… “that wouldn’t be hard to do”… Goblin Gear and Goods is my gift to myself - a way to feed that little voice - and is a gift to you. It’s my hope to show others that they too can make the thing, have something cool they created, and that it isn’t that hard to do.
